Eyes Like Mine is a foundation dedicated to foster and adopted children. Eyes Like Mine is a support system and outlet for those children who feel alone, abandoned, or invisible.

Meet The Founder
Bathsheba  Adams is a multi-talented individual passionate about inspiring people from all elements of life through sharing her own experiences. Entering foster care at the age of 3 and being raised as an adopted child she discovered her purpose through operating in her passion to help people. She employs her talents to deliver her message of keeping God first, Forgiveness, and Success.

Ultimately, her goal is to continuously collaborate on projects with those who share the drive to help people while crossing all boundaries with no exception to age, class, religion, gender, sexual orientation, education, and culture.

Helping Abused, Neglected, and Abandoned Children

As of July 2019 there are over 13,400 children in foster care in Arizona. While removing children from their dangerous family setting provides needed safety, entering the foster care system does not assure a “normal childhood.” This challenging journey often involves multiple moves, inconsistent care giving, and emotional trauma stemming from feeling helpless and isolated.
Eyes Like Mine Inc., incorporated as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, exists to facilitate opportunities and provide effective solutions to alleviate hardships and improve the fragile lives of the abused, abandoned, and neglected children in foster care. It is a tragedy, in this present time, far too many children in foster care continue to find their well being jeopardized.

Ways You Can Help!

Does your organization offer a service or program that could benefit foster & adopted children? Eyes Like Mine warmly welcomes any new opportunity to expand our existing service network, and we actively cultivate partnerships with other community organizations to ensure best practices. Please contact us today for more information. Please contact us if your organization can reduce or waive admission fees to help our foster children.
ELM offers a variety of ways for committed citizens to make a personal, positive impact in the lives of foster children. No matter what your commitment level, ELM has an opportunity for you to make a difference. Volunteers are the life blood of our organization. We have over 100 volunteers who help throughout the year, act as tutors/mentors, teach cooking, sewing, dance, arts and crafts and financial literacy classes, help with the special events and provide special expertise in the legal, accounting, auditing and construction fields.  
Foster Care Charitable Organization) Eyes Like Mine, Inc. is a Qualifying Foster Care Charitable organization and cash donations  are entitled to a tax credit of $500 for single individuals and $1,000 for married couples filing jointly on the Arizona tax return. This credit can reduce taxes for these tax filers more than a regular deduction for contributions to charitable nonprofits, because they may get a dollar-for-dollar reduction in taxes owed. A tax credit is significantly more beneficial than a tax deduction.  A tax credit reduces your taxes, dollar-for-dollar. A tax deduction reduces the taxable income upon which your tax liability is calculated.
You do not need to itemize deductions to claim this Arizona tax credit.
100% of your donation goes to the children’s programs,
NONE will go for administration or fundraising.
